As we reach the end of 2023, I have been reflecting on this past year and considering my goals for the upcoming one. Back in January, I set several goals for myself. My first goal was to Stop all work by 8pm to enjoy a family movie. So how did this go?
It worked for a while. We do try to have family time each night. Lately, however, our hectic schedules have been making that more difficult. So will I set this goal for next year?
Not exactly. As I write this, I realize that one of the reasons this goal didn't work was because it was my goal, not the family's goal.
So this year, I'm making a new goal. To sit down with my family and make our New Year's resolutions as a family.
How about you?
